In Girum
$30.00
Art by Anna Gogusey
Two-color print - white and metallic pewter on Neenah Environment Wrought Iron 100# cover. Incorporates a Latin palindrome known as the devil's verse: "in girum imus nocte et consumimur igni", roughly translated as “we go wandering at night and are consumed by fire”. It is considered both a riddle that refers to the movements of moths or mayflies, and a meditation on self-destructive nature.
50 piece edition - 14"x19"
